Hi, I’m Louie.

A Polymath who designs Systems and finds Useful Concepts that help people Learn, Build, and Maintain what they use every day.

My work evolves as I do. I design, test, and refine what works, exploring how people use tools and information, and how those tools can adapt and improve over time.

A weekly update on what I’m building next: new Systems, evolving Tools, and the Concepts that shape them.

Each edition follows the same principle that drives my work: design, test, refine, and document. I explore ideas through what I call rapid-fire prototyping; examining Concepts, tracing unexpected connections across Systems Theory and Complexity Science, and building prototypes to solve the problems I see. Most fail fast, but each failure produces a framework that carries forward into the next design.

I also revisit old Concepts that have been misinterpreted, misunderstood, or forgotten. Many ideas once dismissed still contain value if examined without bias, and I aim to surface those patterns again in new contexts.

Free to read and open by design. The process matters more than the final product. What I build will change, but the principles behind it will stay consistent: to Learn, Build, and Maintain what we rely on every day.
